Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Mogu VPN (the 'Service Provider,' 'Service,' or 'we') collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when providing the mobile application (the 'App'). We process data according to necessity and the purposes described in this policy.
When you download, launch, or use the App, the system may collect operational data such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app access paths, connection status, and session duration. To recommend routes and improve stability, we may process approximate device location information. This data is used to: 1. recommend connection options based on Mogu VPN's node distribution; 2. analyze regional connection quality through anonymized aggregate data; and 3. send necessary service updates, security notices, or account reminders.
We transmit aggregated or anonymized data only to necessary service providers such as Google Play Services and Firebase for crash analysis, feature improvement, and security maintenance. Except where required by legal process, regulatory obligations, user protection, fraud investigation, or contracted service providers under confidentiality obligations, we do not share identifiable personal information with third parties.
User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable grace period afterward. To cancel your account or delete your profile, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13; if we discover accidental collection of such information, we will delete it promptly. Guardians may also contact us through the same email address.
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Please review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are published means you accept the revised policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025. For questions about our privacy practices, contact the Mogu VPN team at [email protected].
